Engaged!

from Jennifer's perspective

So in many ways the fact that Adam wanted to get married is no surprise. He's been wanting to get married for two years now! When Adam received a job offer out of God's amazing provision (it was totally unexpected!) I suspected that Adam would propose soon. A couple giveaways... he asked for a detailed schedule of my week, made mysterious shopping trips, and kept on bemoaning the rain. Adam's bad at lying too, which is good for marriage, bad for proposing. (you should have seen the pain he was in after lying to Jeff Lee about his birthday surprise!)

On Monday, the 6th of March, 2006...
I wake up and the sun is shining. Hmm. What does that mean? After class and lunch, Adam calls me and tells me he's waiting for me outside. So I go the the front door, and look around, and Adam isn't there! I call Adam because I am visually impaired and he may be hiding behind a bicycle or something. He tells me to look down. Aha! I find a red rose, and his car keys, and a note addressed to Murray, which I open and followed with a clue. "It's green, faster than both of us..." Thus I begin my quest.

Tada! Adam's trusty Subaru Forrester, which has taken us to many places: the beach, to dinner, to the top of Skyline to see the stars, to Tahoe.

The next clue talks about flying discs. I briefly consider driving out to New Mexico, but then decide that it is most likely... Roble field!

Next are the catwalks at FloMo, where, I agreed to date him after three weeks of debating the merits of dating versus courtship.
